Honda Accord NHTSA Safety Rating
The 2019 Honda Accord has a 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the NHTSA for 2019.1 This is true for both standard and hybrid models. They both also received five stars for their protection in front, side, and rollover crash tests.

Honda Accord IIHS Safety Rating

The 2019 Accord earned an Acceptable rating for its LED reflector low-beams and halogen reflector high-beams. You’ll find these on LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L models.
Its child seat anchors were rated as Good, the highest possible rating. Not only are they easy to find, but there are also extra LATCH positions on top of what the government mandates. This means you have even more options when it comes to placing your car seats in the Accord.
Lastly, the Accord received a Superior rating for its standard front crash prevention technologies. Again, this was the highest rating offered for this category.
