2022 Honda HR-V Trim Levels
Here at Faulkner Honda, we carry a great selection of 2022 Honda HR-V vehicles that have everything drivers in Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, and Hershey, Pennsylvania, want in their new crossover SUV.
Which of the four Honda HR-V trim levels fits you best? Check out some of the key features found in each trim, including LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L, below to help answer that question.
Safety Out on the Road
When it comes to the safety of the HR-V, both the design and technology found in the car aim to help keep you safe when you are out on the road.
The Honda HR-V LX has Vehicle Stability Assistâ„¢ with Traction Control that is able to correct any oversteering or understeering. This keeps you safely on the road and in control. It also features a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines that gives you three different views for better vision of what is behind you while in reverse.
The multi-angle rearview camera upgrades to dynamic guidelines in the Sport, EX, and EX-L trim levels. This gives you a more accurate display of where your vehicle is heading when backing up since the guidelines bend as you turn the steering wheel.
Find a clear picture of what is located to the side of you and in your blind spot with Honda LaneWatchâ„¢.
Available in the EX and EX-L, this system features a small camera that shows a live feed right on your display screen of the lane next to you. It lights up when you put your turn signal on. Due to this action, it’s easy for the driver to tell if the other lane is clear before switching into it.
These two higher trims offer the Honda Sensing® suite of safety systems. Six separate systems add to your armor with exceptional driver-assistance. Some of the systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning, along with three other systems.
Interior Features to Discover
Inside the HR-V, you’ll discover versatile space as well as features designed to keep you and your passengers comfortable.
Gain up to 58.8 cubic feet of cargo space in the HR-V LX and Sport two-wheel drive-equipped (2WD) trims. Quickly and easily do so by using the 60/40 Split 2nd-Row Magic Seats®.
These seats allow you to configure your seating arrangement in multiple ways, whether you fold down the seatbacks flat or the seat cushions in the upright position. Whatever shape or size cargo you carry in your Honda HR-V, these special seats can accommodate you.
Air conditioning comes standard for both these introductory trims mentioned here.
Adjusting the temperature to keep it just the way you like is simple in the EX and EX-L. Use the touchscreen to adjust the temperature in the Automatic Climate Control system.
More ways to stay warm when it gets cold exist in these trims. Both trim levels come with heated front seats as well.
When the weather is nice, open up the One-Touch Power Moonroof with Tilt Feature for some extra sunshine and fresh air.
For a combination of extreme comfort and luxury, the EX-L trim provides leather-trimmed seats along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. This stylish and easy to grip steering wheel also comes with the Sport trim.
Entertainment and Connectivity All Around You
As you cruise around in the HR-V, this SUV provides an enjoyable and entertaining ride.
A 4-speaker audio system and a 5-inch color LCD screen outfits the LX. Stream your favorite music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more straight from your smartphone via Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, which comes in all trims. All the while you’ll be able to keep your hands on the steering wheel, thanks to the Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink®.
The Sport trim also hosts a 4-speaker audio system. While the LX features 160 watts of power, the Sport ups the volume to provide 180 watts.
With this trim, you’ll be granted the ability to connect your smartphone to your car. Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto® gives you a connection to the outside world, any apps you use, and access to your music library. Create custom radio stations through Pandora® as well.
Also, in this trim level, the HR-V gives you a 7-inch Display Audio system with High-Resolution Electrostatic Touchscreen. These feature settings can be customized to cater to your specific needs, and you’ll be able to control all the systems listed in the previous sections.
Enjoy more hands-free connectivity with your phone with the text message function that allows you to send and receive messages.
Starting with the EX trim, in the 2022 Honda HR-V, the audio system uses six speakers.
You will also enjoy all the options that come along with SiriusXM® satellite radio and HD Radio™. Discover new music, listen to the news, and much more so that you may stay in your driver’s seat a little longer than you expect.
How Far Can Your MPG Go?
As far as gas mileage goes, you won’t necessarily find differences between the trims. The drivetrain you select determines what type of fuel efficiency you’ll experience.
For example, if you stick with 2WD, your gas mileage will differ from the one associated with the Real Time® All-Wheel Drive (AWD).
With 2WD, your HR-V in any trim will achieve an EPA-estimated 28 city/34 highway MPG1. But if you think the AWD suits your travels better, it achieves an EPA-estimated 27 city/31 highway MPG with the LX trim1. If you drive the Sport through EX-L trims with AWD, you’ll achieve an EPA-estimated 26 city/31 highway MPG1.
